The Open and Affirming process is the UCC's way of asking hard questions about what it means to be an LGBTQ person in Ankeny UCC, so that we have answers when people ask us, and so that we can be held accountable for our offers of welcome. Sometimes, those answers can sustain people in the wilderness of their lives.
