Our Pentecost, like the Pentecost of Judaism, is a celebration of God's actions in the world. In our case, it's a reminder that, when we are confused and think that we cannot go on, the Holy Spirit will be there to support us, if only we listen to her voice. For her voice will remind us that we are empowered to help one another and to serve our neighbors and our God, both of whom we love.
