As the church and minister prepare to go on sabbatical, Paul exhorts us to be assured of God's love, because God loved us and came in the form of Jesus to us without first expecting us to be reconciled. This gives us the model to remember that perfection is not a requirement for attempts at restoring relationship with one another.
