One of the unexpected consequences of the Reformation is the rise of national churches. This sometimes leads us to forget that Kings, Queens, Presidents, any individual leader will not save us. We are saved by the grace of God, illuminated by faith, and the realm of God is built by our hands, following the words of Jesus.
