Jesus's dialogue with Nicodemus in John gives us context to some famous Bible verses. One of those messages to us is to be careful of assuming that those we like and favor can do no bad, and those we dislike can do no good. The world is too complicated to divide into us and them, so we should resist any attempt to use Jesus to do it.
