Jesus tells us that seeds of faith may be scattered on the easy path of the road, to be crushed. On the rocky soil of sudden trouble, to fade quickly away. In a patch of thorns, choking it aside with cries of hypocrisy and isolation. But it is in the long-lasting muck of human existence that we find wisdom and transformation.
